Weekend Planetary Energy Report for February 16 – 17, 2019

The current Sun-Moon phase points to tying up loose ends and refining techniques before next week’s Full Moon.  But situations may feel as if they’re coming to a head already.  We find ourselves working hard to strip away all that’s superfluous in order to reach the bare essence of what’s real to us, especially in matters involving love, beauty and spirituality, when the Cancer Moon opposes Venus, Saturn and Pluto, and makes a fortunate aspect to Neptune.

We want to grow past our boundaries and reach another level and may express impatience to get where we want to be.

We feel a burst of youthful energy and hope when the Moon moves to Leo this morning at 10:21 a.m. ET.  And with Mercury forming a disciplined septile to Pluto we may find ourselves in hot pursuit of an idea and won’t let go until we’ve explored it fully.

But tensions are also built in while the Moon confronts both Uranus and Mars, and forms awkward alignments Mercury, Neptune and Jupiter throughout the day.  Our fun may be pushed beyond the limits of acceptable behavior.

Nevertheless, romantic ideals are also vivid in our hearts and minds while Venus makes an easy aspect to Neptune.  We’re receptive to beauty and want to surround ourselves with harmony and pleasing kindness.  Look for opportunities to give.  Selfless generosity will be personally rewarding.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for February 15, 2019

The Moon moves to Cancer at 9:03 a.m. ET, encouraging us to nest and rekindle the home fires.  We want to be among those nearest and dearest, and find support in our network.

There’s work to be done, though, and we’re pleased to accomplish what we need to do in a timely manner when the Moon makes easy connections to Uranus and Mars. We can persevere and put our nose to the grindstone with renewed energy while Mercury forms a disciplined aspect to Mars.

If possible, find ways funnel our energy to improve conditions in our community.  Take a broad-minded and tolerant approach that fuses perspectives of those different from us in order to understand what exactly needs to be done.

We’re more likely to take risks and follow a new path now rather than maintain our well-worn way.

Tensions may rise…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for February 14, 2019

We may become fixated with an idea or fully engrossed in a topic of interest when Mercury mildly confronts Pluto.

Furthermore, a slower moving septile between Saturn and Uranus may cause tension as the strict energy of Saturn mixes with the in-the-moment ways of Uranus.  We’ll likely push a concept to its limits in order to transform it into something else entirely, rather than its original intention. And with Mercury joining this formation, also forming disciplined septiles to Saturn and Uranus, it furthers our intent to find the answers we’re looking for.  This may feel like an extreme day of pushing agendas that we are passionate about.

The Gemini Moon also involved in this pattern, forming somewhat uncomfortable aspects feeds our emotional hunger.  Ideas fly rapidly, yet we may feel some distress, as if we could jump out of our skin if the answers are not forthcoming.

But now that Mars has moved into steadfast Taurus, our aggressive energy tones down a bit, and we’re more interested in a natural unfolding of ideas.  A plodding pace helps us finish the project.

Emotions grow by evening when the Moon opposes Jupiter.  Grand gesture and expression of feelings—albeit verbal—are likely.

Drive for freedom is strong…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for February 13, 2019

Our drive for freedom and control over our life is strong, and we may exhibit abrupt behavior when a Mars conjunction with Uranus is exact.  Recklessness and impatience might factor into our decision-making so be aware of rash behavior, which could turn out to be problematic.

Moreover, our drive for something larger than life colors our perspective.  Growing past our boundaries and reaching a new plateau motivates our actions.  Becoming consumed with individual expression and finding our own voice is a likely outlet for our energy.  Express exuberance constructively.

The Moon to Gemini at 4:32 a.m. ET encourages us to communicate and connect the dots.  Forming a cohesive understanding and presenting a logical arrangement of ideas will harness the dynamic forces darting around the cosmos today.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for February 12, 2019

As we begin to feel the heat generated from tomorrow’s conjunction between Mars and Uranus, we have other business to contend with before the full brunt of this fiery union.

We’re ready to act under the first quarter Sun-Moon phase.  We have the discipline to move through difficulties and apply sustained effort where needed.  But there’s a hyper quality that needs to be expressed.  A vividly romantic side of us wants to emerge and take over.

Nevertheless, we can express feelings with great emotion when the Taurus Moon is trine Pluto early this evening.  Find useful and cathartic outlets for intense energy.

A fascination with a wide variety of topics is featured when Mercury forms a creative quintile to Jupiter.  Our imagination is stimulated, and we can see possibilities in nearly every idea that pops in our head.  In addition, Mercury also forming a loving minor aspect to Pluto piques our interest in what makes one another tick.  Our curiosity is aroused.

Moreover, the Taurus Moon forming a fortunate connection to Venus this afternoon generates strong compassion and empathy for one another.

Use the information we gather to follow our own path to our dreams.  We have little patience for dull or uninspired activities.  So, look for the magic and wonder in living.

Correction: Aries Moon was incorrectly labelled as Pisces on Saturday—sorry about that!

We feel a surge of creative expression, especially in the way we communicate our thoughts and feelings when Mercury moves to Pisces this morning.  Indulge in imaginative processes.  We may feel a bit restless as well and seek an idealized and romantic version of our reality.

Nevertheless, Mercury also mildly confronting Saturn helps us nail down our whimsy and devote time to study and apply our mental resources wisely.

But the Aries Moon meeting with Mars and later Uranus shakes us up a bit.  Watch for sudden outbursts that may seem to come out of nowhere.

We settle down a bit, though, when the Moon moves to Taurus.  Our patience grows and we feel rooted.  We are ready to allow our emotions to unfold naturally.

Break free from the predictability of routines.  Experiment and learn something new when Mercury is sextile Uranus. Seek people who offer a new way of looking at things.

Moreover, a slower moving minor aspect between Jupiter and Pluto is exact today and our need to free ourselves from limitations and explore possibilities is exacerbated.  We’re driven toward a grander life style and a need to grow beyond our current circumstances is palatable.

But the Aries Moon confronting Saturn this evening will help to contain a situation that may seem to be growing exponentially.  Take time to be alone and reflect on what’s transpired.

A headstrong and independent energy drives us when the Moon moves to Aries at 9:34 a.m. ET.  The Moon beginning a new cycle around the zodiac offers us an opportunity to chart a new course of discovery.  Shake off lethargy and move full speed ahead.

We’re likely to see the big picture and explore unseen aspects of an issue.  Apply classic forms of style and dive into tested methods of problem-solving. What is timeless works now, rather than a trendy idea.

The current Sun-Moon position finds us sending down roots and getting stronger.  A project that began under the New Moon is now gaining traction.  Keep the momentum moving forward.

Universal concerns are emphasized

A need to connect to dreams is strong, especially those that relate to universal concerns when Mars forms a novile to Neptune.  We seek and apply eclectic perspectives and philosophies and want to find a way apply to the greater good.  Becoming engrossed in an unusual idea or a controversial subject is possible.

Furthermore, we are not interested in following the crowd.  Our opinions and will are strong, and we need to follow our instincts to get the results we want.  But still can attract the assistance we need to develop our project.  Expand world view.  In addition, our message is clear and forceful when Mercury is sextile Mars.  Use this capacity to solve disputes.

The Pisces Moon meets Neptune further reinforcing our emotional attachment to our dreams.   Later an easy connection to Saturn brings our spirituality to the fore.  Again, the Moon squaring Jupiter expands all our emotions, and later an easy connection to Pluto helps us express ourselves with deep emotion.
