We’re working hard to achieve something tangible, but it may seem elusive or just out of reach while the Sun is in a stressful alignment with Mars.  We have the energy and taking aim, but we could be missing the mark.

Nevertheless, the Moon’s move to Capricorn overnight encourages us to persevere and work toward our goal.  Moreover the Moon’s meeting with Saturn will prompt reflection.  Take a breather and explore options. We may consider breaking away from the crowd and moving in a new direction when a slower moving fortunate alignment between Saturn and Uranus, although not exact, is triggered once again.

Mercury gains traction…

Even though Mercury is now in its direct motion, we may feel as if we’re in a holding pattern while the planet that signifies communication gains traction.  Nevertheless, Mercury connecting to Pluto allows us to fully focus and hone our thoughts to laser sharp edge.  We may become fixated with an idea and push our views until their heard.

But a fortunate connection between the Sun and Sagittarius Moon this evening helps us relax and feel the comfortable in our surroundings before the Moon moves to Capricorn at midnight Tuesday morning encouraging us to get down to work again.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for August 18 – 19, 2018

Saturday 

Our view of the world around us takes on new importance on Saturday when the Moon moves to Sagittarius at 12:45 p.m. ET.  Moods are lifted and effervesce with optimism.  The Sun and Moon first quarter phase challenges us to think on our feet and act quickly if necessary.  We continue to look for new opportunities or to lay down solid roots in our current venture.

Mercury in an easy alignment with Venus encourages our love of words and ideas presented in an harmonious manner.  It may be easier to get our point across now, and sway others to see a situation from our perspective.

Moreover the Sun forming loving connections to both Jupiter and Neptune allows us to enjoy being part of something bigger than ourselves, and share our dream for the greater good.

A slow moving fortunate aspect between Jupiter and Neptune is exact on Sunday triggering the wanderlust in us all.  We are intrigued by the horizon beyond our boarder that beckons us, and are inspired to follow our dream.  Moreover, with Mercury moving in direct motion now, our review process is over and we begin to implement our plans in earnest.  Additionally, a restless minor connection between Mercury and Uranus sparks new and innovative ideas.  Pay attention to inspiration that comes to us in a flash.

Furthermore, allow an open and freedom-loving energy  to influence our choices.  And a concern for the needs of one another also helps guide our steps.

Emotions run high while the Moon transitions from balanced Libra to Scorpio’s deep waters.  Brooding or intensity are hallmark emotional styles under this Moon sign.  Moreover, a confrontation between the Moon and Mars encourages high energy reactions that seek an outlet.  Busying ourselves with work would help.  In addition, the Moon opposing Uranus is looking for excitement.  Hair trigger emotional responses are possible, and freedom-seeking is likely.

We strongly identify with our dreams and what inspires us when midpoint connections between the Sun, Neptune, Venus and Mars are activated.  We seek a life that motivates from within; one that is wrapped in beauty.  And we want nothing to do with anything that is dull or uninspired.  But we may lack patience needed to achieve our goals.  Use imagination to color our lives with our unique brush stroke that generates excitement in order to further our goals.

he Moon moved to Libra overnight balancing our perspective and encouraging us to see both sides of the story.  Welcome alternate views into the mix as we weigh our options.

The New Moon-Solar Eclipse in Leo at 5:57 a.m. ET offers us an opportunity to plant a new seed and get ready to watch it grow.  As a  new month-long phase begins, make plans to accomplish something we have been noodling about.  Moreover, the Sun-Moon also forms a stressful connection to Pluto, accelerating the power of this union.  This is a compulsive energy that will drive us hard. Now is an optimal time to begin a brand new project.

Moreover, think big while Mercury confronts Jupiter.  Our thoughts need room to expand and branch out into new territory.  Consider the context of the situation and see the world from a broad perspective.  We may rely on general concepts rather than specific data to solve a problem.

The Moon moved to Leo just past midnight this morning encouraging us to allow the child within to emerge.  Warm, loving and generous energy motivates us.  We’re energized as well when the Moon opposes Mars and confronts Uranus.  Tap into reserved sources of fuel to power us.

But the Sun uncomfortable with Saturn wants us to get down to business and to the core of the matter, even though we may find that challenging to do.  Nevertheless, Mercury pushes us further while it forms disciplined connections to both Pluto and Uranus.  We may be unwilling to give up on an idea and convince ourselves that we’ve considered the matter from all angles, which although may technically be accurate, conclusions may be worth further review.

The Cancer Moon opposing Pluto this morning may generate sparks.  Emotions run high and compulsive expressions of feeling likely.

We still gravitate to simple designs, and a clean and streamlined approach when Venus confronts Saturn though.  We’re attracted to beauty and to what’s functional or stable. Allow our concern for the real needs of one another show through.  Take time to declutter our surroundings and get back to basics. But with Venus also in a stressful alignment with Uranus, be ready to spice it up a bit.  Surprises that free us will be attractive.

Moreover, the Sun forming an erratic connection to Mars further encourages us to march to our own drum.  We are motivated to follow our individual path where ever it takes us.  But be aware that Mercury uncomfortable with Neptune may lead us down paths that are unrealistic or unreliable.
