A mentally active day is in store when Mercury makes a fortunate connection to Jupiter, encouraging us to take a broad view. Our interest in philosophies of other cultures and concerns of those who are different from ourselves if featured. See from a new point of view while Mercury forms a playful minor connection to Uranus. Explore new ideas that come to us in a flash.

Moreover, persevere to understand and apply what we’ve learned while Mercury is also involved with Mars. Do the homework necessary to take our ideas to the next level. Our capacity to strip away a concept to its basic elements is strong.

But with Neptune now retrograde, our ideals are subject to review and revision. We will want to take a second look at what we envisioned as our perfection. The Virgo Moon opposing Neptune will help us hold a mirror to our emotional attachments to our dreams.

Furthermore, while Venus forms a stressful connection to Saturn we are brought to the brink of finding what’s real and lasting, even though the picture we hold in our mind’s eye may morph into something different than we originally held as true.

Pay attention to details now that the Moon is in Virgo at 4:40 a.m. ET. Our interest in our immediate surroundings is apparent as a perfectionist attitude emerges. Use time to organize but leave room for surprises.

Venus forming a minor connection to Jupiter injects enthusiasm into the mix. Seek laughter and joy, and express ourselves openly. Allow a fascination with ideas influence our thinking.

The Virgo Moon forming a fortunate connection to Uranus adds to the excitement. Later the Moon making an uncomfortable connection to Pluto, but later meeting easily with Saturn allows us to strip away emotional clutter.

A slow-moving mild confrontation between Uranus and Neptune is exact today, awakening our senses. We might feel anxious to make something happen and realize our dreams, but impatience may lead to instability if taken too far.

Mercury in an somewhat stressful connection to Mars could cause our words to come out more strongly than intended. We’re driven to study and research, but may not find the answers we seek.

With the Moon moving to Leo at 3:20 a.m. ET, and later mixing and mingling with Uranus, Neptune, Venus and Mars, we feel a surge of excitement. We are loving and generous with our affection toward one another, but at the same time may be surprised if our expectations are not met.

The Sun-Moon phase helps us see the first sprouts of what was started under the recent New Moon. A viable project will begin to grow now.

Entertain dreams and unique visions, and pay attention to sudden inspired thoughts. Our psychic feel may be stimulated today. Additionally, an early morning fortunate grand trine between the Cancer Moon, Jupiter and Neptune sets the tone, allowing us to tap into an idealistic and happy place.

Nevertheless, we are willing to apply rational thought, understanding it may be time to make a decision when Mercury opposes Saturn. Amid the fuzzy, feel-good energy, our thinking can be clear and the ability to consider options objectively is available.

The Moon’s move to Cancer at 3:19 a.m. ET, provides a respite, and time to regroup and cocoon in comfortable spaces, even though the energy flow around us is unstable. Seek what’s familiar and surround ourselves with creature comforts in order to help gain our footing. Moreover, the Moon’s opposition to Saturn this afternoon helps put us in a contemplative mood. Reflect on personal matters that hold deep meaning.

But the Sun’s stressful aspect to Mars fuels a drive to accomplish, although we may not be quite sure on where we want to end up. Nevertheless, we’ll set out on our mission.

Mercury forming unstable alignments with Jupiter and Pluto generates power in our words and thoughts. We may be attracted to an unusual idea and go full bore to embrace a new philosophy or way of thinking.

The New Moon occurs in Gemini at 3:43 p.m. ET, encouraging fresh and spontaneous action. Use instincts along with mental prowess to navigate and project ourselves into a new adventure.

With Venus now transitioning to Leo, a warmhearted and generous approach to love and attraction to beauty colors our actions. Eschew pettiness or stinginess and make room for acts of appreciation and romantic gestures.

The Moon moves to Gemini at 2:53 a.m. ET, fanning our need to communicate rationally in order to bridge understanding. And for most of the day the fleet-footed messenger Mercury, comfortable in his own sign, helps us connect the dots.

But later, when Mercury moves to Cancer, our communiques may feel more sentimental and subjective. Thinking based on feeling and intuition may take precedence over logic. Empathy over rational thinking may become a leading factor in decision making.

Nevertheless, we’re inclined to deeper thinking now that Mercury is involved in minor connections to Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto. We may see the world from a broad perspective and search out signs and symbols to guide us. How customs are developed and sustain is of particular interest.

But watch for impatience to get big-picture results when Mars touches off a mid-point connection between Jupiter and Uranus.

Taurus Moon opposes Jupiter during early morning hours and forms an easy connection to Neptune generating big, welcoming feelings that go beyond to touch our ideals. Later a fortunate aspect to Pluto ignites a love of power and the ability to express our feelings with great emotion.

The Sun forming an uncomfortable connection to Pluto, though, prompts within us a sense of mission or purpose. We may strive hard but not quite reach the outcome we envision, or if we reach it, it may not be what we expected.

A confrontation between the Aries Moon and Pluto this morning ignites passionate responses and moods. We may feel obsessed and emotional about a personal matter. Watch for sudden outbursts.

Things smooth over this afternoon when the Moon connects easily with Mercury, and although a square to Venus is exact later this afternoon, it will generate an easier outcome filled with connection to tradition.
