Daily Planetary Energy Report for November 16, 2018

As Mercury begins its retrograde motion this evening, the slowdown in communication may be felt more acutely, but it shouldn’t feel abrupt since the apparent deceleration has been in place for a couple weeks now. Use this three-week time period to revisit matters that need attending. And review what was done previously in order to refine product. Pay close attention to details and take extra care when signing documents. Make sure computers are backed up too!

This morning, though, Venus begins forward motion after its own retrograde event. Areas normally associated with Venus, such as love, beauty, romance and money, should find their footing once again.

The Pisces Moon welcomes Venus’ direct motion by rolling out the red carpet as a confrontation with Jupiter and Pluto generate a need for something bigger and better than what we currently have. Passionately welcome others into our group.

But this afternoon and into the evening the Moon’s aspects to Saturn and Venus may add some somber tones and help us manage our expectations.

Mercury retrograde offers time to think…

If we feel a bit disoriented it may be due to the appearance of Mercury moving backward in the sky. Consider the sensation of riding on a train with another train alongside, moving in the same direction. If the second train slows it looks as if it’s moving backward. Even though it’s not it still looks and feels like it is! Take a time during this approximately three-week period to get our bearings and consider where we’re at in order to move forward effectively.

But the Sun forming an awkward aspect to Saturn doesn’t help us gain our stability. We want to come to a decision, but may not feel as if we have the information we need.

The Capricorn Moon connects easily with Venus during early morning hours, though, fostering adherence to comforting traditions. But by mid-morning we’re shaken out of our zone when the Moon meets Pluto and emotional release may be necessary.

Nevertheless, we may consider this the first course in a progressive dinner party as we await the main course tomorrow when the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse takes place with the involvement of Mars and Uranus!

‘RE-‘ everything when Mercury is retrograde…

Incorporate a fluid and flexible approach when Mercury begins its retrograde motion today and remains in this state for the next three weeks.

The much ballyhooed period that occurs approximately three times a year can mark a time of confusion, delays, miscommunication, and breakdowns but it also can be a time where we revisit and review activities and come up with new approaches and alternatives. We may even run into or reconnect with an old friend or two! Awareness can ameliorate much of the static, and increase our ability to use the time to our advantage.

The Moon moves to Gemini at 1:30 a.m. ET, increasing our need to communicate effectively. Our interest in understanding is featured and connecting the dots and coming up with logical assumptions is a priority.

Nevertheless, we forge ahead, and follow our dream. Our strong path may direct us to community efforts or toward helping those around us when Mars forms playful and other-directed connections to both Neptune and Jupiter, respectively.
